Residential Building Official

The City of Eaton is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Residential Building Official. Responsibilities include enforcing and inspecting for compliance with the city’s residential/commercial codes, zoning and property maintenance codes, ordinances, and standards.

Qualified applicants must have a HS Diploma (or equivalent), a valid Ohio Driver’s License, possess State of Ohio Board of Building Standards Residential Building Official and Building Inspector Certifications.

Starting salary between $59,100 and $77,112 DOQ with a generous benefit and retirement package.
